Procedure: 1. Cut the color sheets into three different size circles. 1. Square white canvas Inspiration: Yes! this is the icon used in apple gadgets ‘game center’. Thats where i got the idea from. I was planning to use subtractive primary colors Cyan, Magenta & yellow. As you may know, when mixing these colors red, blue & green colors are evolved. I wanted the same happening with the minute, hour & second hands when they overlap at various times. As i couldnt find magenta i had to use purple instead. So if you are going to try this project, then use magenta instead of purple. Here Cyan is Hour hand, Yellow is minute hand, Purple is seconds hand. when i made this , i dint take any photos to explain the step by step procedure as i dint plan to post the projects here initially. so please excuse me.
2. Take the clock hands that came with the clock mechanism kit. Position them on the respective circular color sheet and mark the two end points of the clock hand .One is the side where hand points at numbers (say point 1) & other is the hole where it gets connected to the clock shaft.(say point-2)
3. now you have to puncture at the marked point -2 side on the sheet.
4. then cut the connecting end of the clock hand and paste in on the Point-2 end of the sheet.
5. Same process applies to all the clock hands.
6. Next mark a black dot with permanent marker on the marked point-1 side of the sheet. This will act as the pointer to numbers.
7. Now fix the clock mechanism behind the canvas at the center.
8. Then insert the made color hands very gently one by one as per the clock kit instructions.
9. For numbers: I wanted the clock to be minimalistic in design. so i just had black small dots pasted instead of numbers, which i felt to be more elegant and added beauty to the colors.
10. Insert batters & the clock is ready to work!

3. Transparent color sheets – should be stiff and not too thick. I used the color files. you may use acrylic sheets too.
