Did you know that you can make several fancy and useful items out of paper. I have been using card-stocks (thick paper) to make Gift boxes, envelopes, Organizer tray, decors etc.. Best thing is that you can make any color or pattern you want without spending much. All you need is paper, glue and any cutting machine. Here is a quick tutorial on how to make a simple personalized Business card holder made out of thick paper/card stock.
Free design template is uploaded on cricut design space for your personal use.

Business Card Holder – DIY
Step – 1 : Open the template
Open the template link in Cricut design space and turn off the sample card. Its just in there for your reference. Turn off the logo text too. Click ‘Make it’.
Step – 2 : Set material & cut
Load the paper on the strong grip mat. Here, I am using a thick paper with glitter like sparkly finish, but its not textured. Set the material setting to ‘Cardstock’. Place the good side facing down on the mat. Load fine point blade and scoring stylus before you click continue.
Step – 3 – Weed & fold
Unload the mat and remove the material off of it. If you have fear of crushing the paper while removing, then put the mat upside down and peel the mat instead of the paper. Next fold the material along the scored lines.
Step – 4 : Apply glue
Now lets apply glue and connect them together. First, apply to the small square flaps and attach it to the bottom portion. Next apply to the sides and hold them together until glue dries.
Step – 5 : Personalize it
Provide a little personal touch to the holder with your logo or name. Here I have used adhesive foil vinyl for cutting my text. Then, use transfer paper and apply it to the holder on its lid.
